Draw or write about a Starlyng interacting with the current season's (in your hemisphere) weather on the planet they are observing!

The Seasonal Prompt is worth 200 Stardust, and can be submitted once a month until the end of the season.

Seasons are determined meteorologically, and change every three months on the first. 

SEASONAL PROMPT REQUIREMENTS: 

• ART:  Must have a simple background, shading, and be a bust at minimum. Submissions should be no bigger than 2000x2000px and 72 dpi.

Depict or write about your Starlyng observing wildlife that has the Traits you desire on your Starlyng!

After approval, you will receive the Observation Journal Item, which can be used to change the Rarity of a preexisting Starlyng to Rare, granting them access to all Traits Rare and below.

This Item can only be applied during a design update on YOUR approved Starlyngs.

TRAIT OBSERVATION PROMPT REQUIREMENTS:

• BOTH: The wildlife being observed MUST BE depicted.

Depict either preexisting flora (that DOESN'T have any art yet) or entirely new flora that exists within the Starlyng Universe!

All submissions have a chance at being integrated into our official lore, as well as being included as a collectable Item.

FIELD RESEARCH PROMPT REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must at least feature a colored and minimally shaded piece of the entire organism with a transparent background.

• Image must be at least 300x300 pixels large with a 1:1 (square) aspect ratio. Submissions should be no bigger than 2000x2000px and 72 dpi.
  
  
  • Please make full use of the space! Don't leave excess negative space around the subject (example).
    
    
• Additionally, must at least include a one-sentence long written description of the organism free of grammatical errors.
  
  
  • These descriptions will possibly be expanded upon for their official flora pages to reflect other entries on the site.
    
    
• Do not submit variations of the same organism with only slightly different features (e.g. palette swaps).

After approval, you will receive 50 Stardust and 150 Sylver (rewards subject to change).

The submission of this Prompt grants you x1 Tricks and Treats per piece, and can be submitted multiple times until November 1st.

Voiding your Starlyngs, Oort, and Boötes will disconnect them from the species and render them one-off designs.

A VOIDED STARLYNG, OORT, OR BOÖTES:

• MAY NOT be listed or described as Starlyngs, Oort, or Boötes, but they will no longer be subject to the Starlyng Terms of Service and Use.
  
  
• Will retain their Masterlist entry, but it will no longer be updated.
  
  
  • Voided characters will be labeled as VOID-[ID#], and their category will be changed to Void.
    
    
• MAY NOT be used for Prompts or used to participate in any community activities. 

Additionally, voided Starlyngs, Oort, and Boötes may be unvoided 2 weeks after they have been voided through this Prompt. As we no longer keep track of the ownership of these characters after they have been voided, you will need to provide proof of ownership (ownership history on Toyhou.se is sufficient) to reinstate them. Voided Starlyngs will be retained by our managerial account, grimshaw.

If you understand and agree to the terms above, add any characters you wish to void by clicking "Add Character" and entering their character code upon entering the Prompt submission screen.

Adding voided characters to this Prompt using the same instructions as above will unvoid them.

GUIDELINES:

• Any user of any rank may submit one Starlyng (Rafflyng) for community raffle every 3 months.
  
  
• We prefer this to not be on a base.
  
  
• If accepted, submit your Rafflyng to the Trimonthly Userlyng Raffle Prompt before the time you'd like the design to be raffled, and write down the Traits of the submitted design.
  
  
• Rafflyngs can utilize any Traits up to Rare, but will have their overall Rarity marked as Common.
  
  
• All non-OA/GA-created Rafflyngs will be classified as MYO Starlyngs, while OA/GA-created Rafflyngs will be classified under their own respective Subtype.
  
  
• If your design is rejected to be a Rafflyng, you may still make it a personal MYO.
  
  
• You will not receive any Item or Currency rewards for submitting to this Prompt or its associated Gallery. This is a voluntary donation of your work to the community.
