–bzz–zz-b… and we’re live!

“Hello everyone, welcome back to my live cooking show. Today is a special broadcast, as I will be participating in this year's Cosmic Cook-Off. For today's special episode, I will show you how to make and prepare Holoth Ceviche.”

“Now for this recipe, you will need two Holoth per serving, and for our exclusive sauce and shell presentation, one of these bad boys.” Aurora takes out an echinoid from the freezer underneath them. “Now these things ARE venomous, so for our viewers out there capturing these guys, be careful. Now let's get to prepping…”

Aurora carefully cuts the Holoth in half, avoiding the eye in the middle, and puts it aside. She scoops out the innards and puts them in a bowl for later. Cleaning up the hard shell under cool water to get the rest out and cleaned up for later. “And that's how you do it. No need to fret it, it’s an easy process.” Aurora cleans up her workspace putting the bowls aside and starts prepping the next portion of the dish. “Now for our dish: let's chop up all the ingredients; this includes our Holoth, peppers, and lemons.” Aurora masterly chops all the ingredients, avoiding all of its eyes while subconsciously cutting up the Holoth into little swirls for Brioche, which reminds her of Brioche’s dollop swirls. “Now folks, let's put our chopped-up Holoth into a bowl and clean it under cool water. After that’s done, let's get some hot water that's been boiling here and carefully boil our Holoths with this water. Do not boil it over a fire; this method lets all that nice flavor of the Holoth come out naturally without overboiling it. Add a dash of lemon juice as well. While this is cooling down, let's make our sauce.”

Aurora takes out the innards of the Echinoid from earlier and the diced peppers and takes out a blender. “We are going to make a mildly hot sauce—not too overwhelming, of course—and a sweet spicy sauce.” She blends half of the peppers and half of the innards along with some salt and soy sauce. “Here is our spicy sauce, and now for the sweet one.” As she mentions, this she pours the sauce into small containers and cleans the blender for the next blend. She takes the rest of the peppers and innards and puts them in the blender, this time using honey instead of soy. “This honey will make a thicker, sweeter sauce for those who prefer a milder taste.” She pours these sauces into another container, making sure to label what sauce is what.

“Now that our Holoth are done cooking, let's prep to present!” Taking everything, she makes two dishes, the one on the right a spicier version decorated with the Echinoid’s eye from earlier. The smell of this dish is strong and fiery. To her left, the sweeter one is prepared, using extra peppers for decoration. This dish smells like a sweet hot day on the beach. “That’s how you make this dish in different ways, folks. Let's get a close-up cam of this, please.” The camera switches from a wide shot to a close-up of the dishes prepared. “Now next up after the break… I will show you how to make a dish with this Rhapsody fish AND an exclusive live reaction taste test of my Holoth Ceviche from… BRIOCHE! We’ll be right back, folks!”
