"NPC Starlyngs" are a closed sub-category of Starlyngs that are a part of the Starlyng world's official canon. You may see NPCs as the head instructors and advisors of events,  group activities, and other places! NPC Starlyngs may only be created by Stafflyngs, and are very limited in quantity as a result. They are bound to the group, and cannot be distributed to members.

"Official Starlyngs" are a closed sub-category of Starlyngs. Official Starlyngs are any Starlyngs that are created by an Official Artist (see FAQ question, "What is an Official/Guest Artist?") and distributed via adopts, customs, or raffles. These may be owned and exchanged with other members of the group.

"Guest Starlyngs" are a closed sub-category of Starlyngs. Guest Starlyngs are any Starlyng that is created by a Guest Artist (see FAQ question, "What is an Official/Guest Artist?") and distributed via adopts, customs, or raffles. These may be owned and exchanged with other members of the group.

"MYO Starlyngs" are an open sub-category of Starlyngs. MYO Starlyngs are any Starlyngs that are created for a user's personal use via MYO Items. These may be owned and exchanged with other members of the group, but cannot be created as adopts by members.

"NPC Oort" are a closed sub-category of Oort that are a part of Starlyngs' official canon. These are typically the pets of NPC Starlyngs. NPC Oort may only be created by Stafflyngs, and are very limited in quantity as a result. They are bound to the group, and cannot be distributed to members.

"Official Oort" are a closed sub-category of Oort. Official Oort are any Oort that are created by an Official Artist (see FAQ question, "What is an Official/Guest Artist?") and distributed via adopts, customs, or raffles. These may be owned and exchanged with other members of the group.
