Transformations

Alternate Posture

Species: Starlyng

Alternate Posture allows for a Starlyng to have both a feral and anthro version (whatever is opposite of the Main image) displayed on the Masterlist.

  • Requires a preexisting Starlyng (new/preapproved Masterlist submissions should NEVER have a Transformation applied)

  • ONLY ONE Alternate Posture may be submitted per Starlyng

  • If a Starlyng's Main Masterlist image is feral, then the Alternate Posture Transformation would be anthro and vice versa

  • Alternate Postures typically share the exact same Traits as the Main image

Alternate Palette

Alternate Palettes are additional versions of one Starlyng that appear relatively the same, with alterations coming in the form of different colors and patterns!

  • Requires a preexisting Starlyng (new/preapproved Masterlist submissions should NEVER have a Transformation applied)

  • ONLY ONE Alternate Palette may be submitted per Starlyng

  • Not all Alternate Palettes require "Chameleon" unless the form is quickly shifted, or the colors and patterns are drastically different than the original

  • Minor changes in colors and patterns can be justified by a Starlyng's naturally occuring seasonal coat

Alternate Form

Alternate Forms are additional versions of one Starlyng that appear distinctly different from their original forms, yet remain attached to the design!

  • Requires a preexisting Starlyng (new/preapproved Masterlist submissions should NEVER have a Transformation applied)

  • ONLY ONE Alternate Form may be submitted per Starlyng

  • Alternate Forms can share or differentiate themselves by having unique Traits from their original

  • Not all Alternate Forms require "Chameleon" unless the form is quickly shifted and the appearance is drastically different than the original
Earthbound Soul

Earthbound Soul

Species: Starlyng

Colloquially known as Earthlyngs or Humanlyngs, Earthbound Souls are Distorted Starlyngs that have had their consciousness separately reformed in the Earthlyng Universe (Universe Pair B+/B-) with the original's memories intact. Thus, there are now two separate consciousnesses of the same Starlyng in both the prime Starlyng Universe and the Earthlyng Universe. Due to this, Earthbound Souls erroneously presume that they have been teleported and are generally unaware of their dual consciousnesses.  Their Distortions cause them to take on new humanoid characteristics.

Earthlyngs do not preside on Tellus. Tellus is the Starlyng Universe's Earth. Earthlyngs exist in a parallel universe, on a different Earth.

Obtained by using x1 Earthbound Soul on an existing Starlyng during a design update

Unary Starlyng

Unary Starlyng

Species: Starlyng

One half of a Binary Starlyng [M]

  • May ONLY be applied to an existing Binary Starlyng during a design update (new/preapproved Masterlist submissions should NEVER have a Transformation applied)

  • Binary Starlyngs allow for TWO Unary Starlyng Transformations

  • Each half (Unary Transformation) may have differing Traits and credits (but should listed altogether on the main Masterlist image)

Infant

Infant

Species: Oort

The first phase of an Oort's life cycle is its Infancy. It begins its life resembling a small flame with an equally small face.

Oort remain in this phase for one month of real time, after which they can move onto their second phaseChild. This can also be achieved with the use of a Presto

Child

Child

Species: Oort

The second phase of an Oort's life is its Childhood. It resembles a small bird or hamster (at ~4"/10 cm long), and begins forming limbs and mimicked Traits.

Evolves into a Child after one month of real time in Phase 1 (Infant), or with a use of Presto.

Adult

Adult

Species: Oort

The third phase of an Oort's life is Adulthood. At this point, its limbs and Traits are fully formed, and the creature reaches about one foot (~1'/30.5 cm) in length. Oort spend most of their lives in this phase.

Evolves into an Adult after six months of real time in Phase 2 (Child), or with a use of Abracadabra.

Elder

Elder

Species: Oort

The fourth and final phase of the Oort life cycle happens when they become an Elder. Elder Oort take on the longer, more Draconic look of Ouroboros (reaching upwards of ~3'/91 cm). Not all Oort reach this phase, and those who do are particularly long-lived. Rarely, Oort may exhibit weaker versions of Firstborn abilities and rudimentary telepathic communication.

Evolves into an Elder after one year of real time in Phase 3 (Adult), or with the use of a Alazakam.

Spore

Spore

Species: Boötes

The first phase of a Boötes' life cycle is as a Spore, in which they resemble the head of a dandelion flower. Their forms are very small (~1"), gossamer, and can be either faceless or feature a teensy mouth.

Boötes remain in this phase for one month of real time, after which they can move onto their second phaseGerm. This can also be achieved with the use of a Presto

Germ

Germ

Species: Boötes

The second phase of a Boötes' life is when they become a Germ. During this phase, Boötes are now thicker and fuzzier and measure about ~3"(/7.6 cm) long. They can have either one or two eyes and may or may not have a mouth. This stage is also when the limbs and Traits begin to form.

Evolves into a Germ after one month of real time in Phase 1 (Spore), or with a use of Presto.

Fun Guy

Fun Guy

Species: Boötes

The third phase of a Boötes' life is when they become a Fun Guy. Nearly ~6"(/15 cm), this stage is when the limbs and mimicked Traits are fully formed (if formed at all). These Traits are even smaller than they appear on Oort. The majority of a Boötes' life is spent in this phase.

Evolves into a Fun Guy after six months of real time in Phase 2 (Germ), or with a use of Abracadabra.
