Botanical (Rare)

Category: Body

Allows for the body to be made from plants and/or fungi, or is capable of growing these directly from it.
This Trait is not needed to depict Starlyngs or pets with plant accessories, or with any plants on them that are not directly growing from their body.

Seraphic

Seraphic (Rare)

Category: Body

Allows for upwards of three wings in any location.
Seraphic [R] negates the need for the Wings [UC] Trait entirely.

Devilish

Devilish (Rare)

Category: Body

Allows for the addition of a spade-tipped tail and/or bat-like wings.

  • When applied,  this Trait automatically comes with the Wings [UC] Trait in the shape of leather bat-like wings. They're optional.

  • Devilish Starlyngs with Wings still require the Wings [UC] Trait for categorization. Users do not need to expend Items for this.

    • The Wings [UC] Trait is NOT needed for Devilish Starlyngs using the Seraphic [R] Trait.

  • All other Traits still require Traiting and Items as per the usual system.

Insectoid

Insectoid (Rare)

Category: Body

Allows for the addition of antennae, compound eyes, bug wings, and/or other bug-related features such as mandibles or a segmented body.

  • Automatically comes with the Wings [UC] Trait in the form of insectoid wings. They're optional.

  • Insectoid [R] Starlyngs with Wings still require the Wings [UC] Trait for categorization. Users do not need to expend any Items for this.

    • The Wings [UC] Trait is NOT needed for Insectoid Starlyngs using the Seraphic [R] Trait.

  • All other Traits still require Traiting and Items as per the usual system.

Mutated

Mutated (Rare)

Category: Body

APPLIES TO ANY STARLYNG WITH VISIBLE BONES, ORGANS, ETC.
These optional features are part of a projected vessel and not inherent to the internal anatomy of a Starlyng. 

  • Also allows for the inclusion of abnormal flesh or keratin growth, extra eyes, and enlarged claws, bodily spikes, or horns anywhere on the body.

  • Extra limbs must be small and nonfunctional

  • Can also be used to remove facial features EXCEPT for the head and snout.

  • Not to be confused with Chimeric [M] (additional heads, legs, or bodies) or All Ears [R] (additional ears).

Material

Material (Rare)

Category: Body

Allows for the body to be made up of at least partially of an inorganic material.
This can include metal, plastic, stuffing, fleece or fabric, or even minerals.

ONLY OBTAINABLE DURING THE FESTIVAL OF FOOLS.
Allows
for one set of hominoid hands/feet OR for the hallux (back toe) of an otherwise standard anisodactyl Starlyng to be positioned like a thumb.
Can be applied through the use of x1 Bigfoot's Hoot Plaster Cast.

  • Digits CANNOT be applied to all four hands and feet to give them hominoid features.

  • Digits CAN be applied to all halluces.
