GinnungagapUbi sunt

Ginnungagap (from Ginnungagap and "Ubi sunt") are EUB with a mixture of humanoid and cephalopod features (chiefly squids). These EUB are special in that they were once the Scylla and Charybdis of Cepheus, a Veil-class Styx. They defected from the hivemind to form their own sub-society within the Maw of Endless Blue. While the Ginnungagap possess devastating, reality-warping psionic powers (owing to their status as EUB), they prefer a path of peace. The Ginnungagap and the Maw communicate with one another telepathically and long ago came to an agreement that lead to their harmonious coexistence today.  The Ginnungagap secretly act as "gravekeepers" for the civilizations that use the Maw and its surrounding areas as their cemetery. 

The Order does not currently know about the truth of the Ginnungagap nor of their residence within the Maw (let alone its true nature, although they are looking into it).
