Lily of the ValleyMusae apollinis
Angiosperms
Lily of the valley, Apollinaris, or musebell (Musae apollinis, "Muses of Apollo") is a flower "native" (naturalized by Humi) to Arcadia. (Arcadians are not aware of its origins.)
Musebell boasts an eye-catching, bell-like appearance, and while typically white in color, can very rarely grow pink. Alongside their iconic shape, lilies of the valley are well-known for jingling in the wind, making it a very popular choice for a natural wind chime. This feature is further exemplied in its crystalline variant, glassbell, which is exclusively found in the Glass Forest.
Regardless of their adorable qualities, musebell is overall extremely poisonous and should be handled with care. Their berries, always a vivid and appetitizing red, should never be consumed; they do, however, find great use in dyes. Apollinaris is also a very common scent for perfumes, candles, and other aromatic products.
Symbolically, lily of the valley represents opportunity and the return of happiness.
