First Seat: Moirorn
Firstborns ・ Part of Order of the Origin
Otherwise known as the self-proclaimed Mythical Merchant, Magimy (from "magical" + "mythical") is the first of the Firstborns to ever be created. "Magimy," however, is just a guise: her true identity is that of Moirorn (from "Moirai" and "Norns"), the Methuselah Star, First Seat of the Order and Composer of the Cosmos. The Order rarely refers to her by name or by her titles in full; instead, she is called the First (Seat), the Composer, or... more colloquially, the Vacant Seat. Save for her partner, the Eighth, and the Second, Moirorn is the only surviving founder of the Order.
After having existed for a billions of years, Magimy prefers to spend her time incognito traveling the Universe as a merchant, guide, and teacher. It is extremely rare that she makes an appearance at the Order (hence the "Vacant Seat" title); most of the time, the others cannot even contact her, let alone track her whereabouts. Outside of the other Firstborns, much of the Order doesn't know what Moirorn looks like, let alone Magimy, and so she's able to go about her life without attracting too much attention. However, her image as Moirorn is plastered all over in the form of windows, tapestries, etc., and she doesn't have the heart to take down what are all gifts, so... Let's just say Moirorn is fond of head-to-toe robes.
Magimy's personal powers centralize around the manipulation of weather (wind in particular, including cosmic winds and anything that travels via air, such as sound; this applies metaphysically as well) and dust. Her affinity for time and "sound" makes her extremely adept at "hearing" and manipulating the Score of Spacetime. Her skill may even surpass that of Ouroboros, yet because Magimy is eternally bound by the Law (unlike her forebearer), she can never truly make use of it. Magimy is overall capable of immense destruction, yet she'd never even consider such a thing. Well, she might consider it if you annoy her.
Worse yet, unlike other Firstborns and every other being in the Universe, Magimy CAN read her own "destiny"—that is, Magimy has a preordained fate. Regardless of any decision, of any chance or possibility, her destination will always be the same: the End of All Things. At least, that is as far as she can perceive; anything after that is a "bright, white light"—not necessarily cessation, but nothing that conclusively speaks of a future. Then again, why can she read that far? Is there somehow something more after the Grand Finale? Or... does it mean that her future... finally be her own?
Magimy gave up on asking questions like these ages ago. The Husk never once responded to her queries, after all. What good would it do, to be consumed by unanswerable curiosities? To surrender to futility? To nihilism? To the idea that, in her exception, she can never truly enjoy the mundane? Even if her own path is a straight and direct line through time, so many other strings weave around her; she clearly has meaning beyond the one willed by Ouroboros. Ultimately, and in her esteemed opinion, Magimy's life is her own. So, rather than await the inevitable, why not live the interim to the fullest? (For the record, Magimy has not breathed a word of this to anyone, although her partner has made some silent conclusions.)
Magimy also "dabbles" as an Archivist; this is where her Mythical Trait Tomes come from. Her abilities as a Reaper are enough to take on pupils as well.
Items commonly associated with breezy Moirorn (wind chimes, pinwheels, feathers, etc.) are seen as "good luck" charms for safe travel. She's also associated with woodwind instruments, singing, and music in general.
